A little about me..

I’ve been lucky enough to call the New Forest home for the past sixteen years, and I never take for granted how special it is to live surrounded by such natural beauty.

My journey began as a young woman when I qualified in both hairdressing and barbering. After starting my family, my path led me into community work as a support worker, where I discovered a deep compassion for caring for others. This eventually guided me toward end-of-life services at a local funeral directors — work that truly shaped my understanding of empathy, patience, and the importance of gentle, respectful care.

Outside of work, my heart belongs to my two wonderful dogs: Luna, a calm and kind soul, and Pippa, a mischievous little character who could easily convince you to hand over your roast dinner with just one look of those irresistible sausage-dog eyes.

My love for animals and the outdoors inspired me to create The Happy Sausage professional dog walking and care services. I understand how busy life can be — balancing work, family, and home isn’t always easy — so my aim is to offer peace of mind, knowing your four-legged friends are not only well cared for, but truly happy and content.
